I have not applied (yet) but the biggest benefit to Hololive if you were already streaming/want to be a vtuber is simply just getting a guaranteed following (and with that income).

The biggest thing that sucks about Hololive is the game permissions though. It really limits freedom. I am a big fan of Resident Evil but that would never be an option to play simply because Capcom is being an ass. Indies do not have this problem but they have to do all the marketing themselves and it's hard to get noticed I feel.
