Elira has an emote on her chat that is this guy crossed with Sena from Xenoblade 3 because her copying Sena was how she got into saying it because Sena says it whenever she does some attack in the game but also there is this meme. Also she has an entire set of characters so you can spell out yippee in emotes too and because everyone in chat would spam it when Sena says it like if you look at chat in this video

I assume people do know the meme but probably the reason it has suddenly taken off in NijiEN after all the girls met with Elira like a year later after that meme was a big thing is because of Elira saying it so much
