I don't think it was someone else botting her. not only did it happen twice, but she celebrated 15k on twitter 2 weeks after the second time (pic related from lolcow).

also, you can watch clips from the aug 14th stream (https://twitchtracker.com/snuffy/streams/39267062766)) and there's never a huge influx of follow alerts around the time she got them, even though alerts are on for the rest of the stream.

as for viewbotting, idk. there is some generic and awkward bot-like chatting in her earliest minecraft streams, but I've only garnered that from clips, so there isn't enough context to be sure. her channel did grow quite fast in the beginning, and she became a twitch affiliate after only a week -- she spent almost no time at all in the <50 viewer zone.

I have no clue about the thing with her mods. the names in chat are cut off in the early clips.
