The same idea as with local, you wouldn't enable highres fix all the time, but when you find an image you like. Keep the seed of the good image and regen it with highres fix 1.5x or so.
But all that said, at 512x768 you can do that locally unless the only hardware you have is a phone or something. It's not very resource intensive. Would save you some credits.
