Instead of calling characters they like their waifu and husbandos. They call them "comfort characters", even though in practice and in use. They are essentially saying waifu and husbando. I know a lot of this "politics in video games" shit is kinda dumb, but I feel like everyone just kind of misunderstands everyone. I mean, does it really matter that the game is highly political when it's presented in such a wacky way? Like, we understand that no matter what it's fiction... Not everyone will gleam it's message and everyone is free to take whatever they want from the game. If someone does not want to care about the actual real world parallels it coincidentally depicts. We shouldn't force them. Just let them go through the game, let them see the message, and let them live on with their life.

I just think this notion of "MUST MAKE SURE GAME POLITICAL, MUST MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS, MUST MAKE SURE EVERYONE ENGAGE WITH POLITICS", is just a little stupid. It also feels a little entitled.
