anon you sound so fucking underage right now. Convenience exists because it eliminates unnecessary time and attention spent on things that you don't care about, but you get to decide what you should care about or not. Rejecting all instruments of convenience is just as retarded as chasing all sources of instant gratification. You are supposed to use your goddamn brain to decide what demands your full attention and what doesn't.

that's true, internet has turned the "PT Barnum" strategy viable on wide scale. Used to be you had to at least pretend to do things in a reasonable way to reach folks who make more logical choices. Now you can make a successful business entirely based on looking for idiots to throw away their money - just look at amazon resellers who randomly sell things at a ridiculous price, but makes money anyway since a lot of people don't even bother checking a second price source before buying. In fact, I am willing to bet that if you do the math, catering to idiots becomes the optimal business strategy once you reach a critical idiot pool size. A whole entire book could be written on this topic.

Anyway, this is getting too off-topic. Elira is very cute and feesh still surprises me every day about how little she knows of the world.
