I'm aware, but 774 seems like they're going to be working with them going forward instead of trying to do things in house anymore, so it's easier to just to simplify the fact the techs aren't directly on 774's payroll.

I was emphasizing the model shots since that's what most people look at and remember, but the crowd also blew away the crowd effects that Holo uses. Unreal also handles complex lighting better then Unity unless you're a true wizard and even then you only get parity, which Cover's techs certainly aren't. Unity has issues with handling dynamic lighting that Unreal doesn't, on top of just being a better engine to allow more light sources to be rendered in a real time environment at the same computational cost, which is why the dynamic lighting of the stage looked so natural on Rene et al compared to Holo where the environment doesn't have nearly as much of an effect on them and doesn't look as good as a result.
