Raids would likely be targetting villages and other settlements since they have a greater concentration of desired spoils in them. It also helps that they're probably minding their own business, which makes them less likely to be ready for combat and/or escape. Particularly crafty raiders might decide to start a raid on a village by tossing smoking pots of hallucinogen into the village and rush it while the inhabitants are still confused by the situation.
How far they would pursue risuners into the woods probably varies, but being fellow forest dwellers, they probably know better than doing too deep into the woods. Although it should be noted that the western coast of /risu/ (which is more accessible by /meat/) likely has a sparser forest due to its drier climate (barring the monsoon region in the north). That said, I imagine raidings against /risu/ would likely stop after /risu/ establishes relations with /inf/ and possibly /meat/, so nowadays you probably won't get raids considering we seem to be trading (correct me if I'm wrong), and I think /risu/ would most likely include a clause that asks the raiding to stop (which would be honoured, and any /meat/ who breaks that deal on their own will be considered fair game).
/meat/ probably have big boats due to /meat/'s history as raiders, and unlike the Mediterranean, the south holo sea is probably more turbulent, which means smaller ships probably can't go too far from shores without sinking.

Sounds fairly interesting, although I think /meat/ might not do too much piracy, just in case /ahoy/ wants to build their country around that concept.

Why not? The inspiration of /meat/ when it comes to raiding also worked as pretty prolific traders, after all.

Looks good to me!

How does that work, actually? I'm aware that individual traders in /nasfaqg/ are identifiable due to how the system works. Does that mean we have to stick to those individuals and their preferences to trade with them? Or should we make up potentially fictional companies to facilitate with working out trades and such?
