It's just making a comment to the streamer with something substantial rather than "Hey", "This is my first time tuning in" or asking a dumb as fuck question.
Saying something unique/out of the ordinary helps you stand out from the crowd and heighten your chances of getting a response (which can also be a content generator in itself if the streamer makes a funny comment or goes on a tangent from there).
It's a basic skill in socializing. The hell is wrong with you anons?
