/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Everyone keeps saying that it's wrong to imagine you are having a relationship with chuubas, but isn't that the whole point of vtubers? They're not supposed to BE real people. They're SUPPOSED to be made up characters that you can interact with in real time. They're supposed to be anime characters.

But all I see are face reveals and immersion breaking rules and reddit scolds trying to get us to instead see them just as avatars of some unknowable person we are supposed to care about more than the character they have created. It's ass-backwards!
