"R-really, I'm fine," you say, but he has already hurried off to fill up a glass of ice-cold water. The door is still open, letting in a cool draft of air. He eventually remembers to slip off his shoes, but that glass of water is his priority. "Here, drink", he says.

You sip the water bit by bit, feeling less dizzy now that you're sitting down on the comfortable couch. Your husband stares at you worriedly, awaiting a response. You let out a sigh of relief, almost forced, just so you can hear his.

"Whew", he says, indeed relieved. "I'm just glad you're all right". You rub your arms a bit and he remembers the door is still open. He rushes over to close it and puts his shoes on the mat near the entrance. "Something must be wrong if you were on the ground like that. I knew I should have started my leave earlier." You begin to explain, but you still feel bad about the bowl as you look over to the broken ceramic near the table leg. "Don't worry about that", he says. "I can get another one soon. I just care about you right now".

"I've been feeling pain in my belly for a while. I don't know what's causing it. Maybe it's the kicking, but I think it's something else. I feel it around here", you explain as you gesture around the bottom of your belly. "I'm...sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I didn't know what to say...". "I see", says your husband. You take a few more sips of water and as you're setting the glass down you hear him loosening up his tie and unbuttoning the first few buttons of his work shirt. It was a warm day today so his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. To your surprise he immediately lifts you up again and holds you close to his chest as he carries you to the bedroom upstairs. You get a whiff of his cologne as your face leans in between his open shirt. A bit of sweat had formed around the top of his undershirt, and the scent of it mixed in with the fragrance you liked made you a bit dizzy and flustered. The sight of the tightness of his shirt certainly wasn't helping either. You still felt bad about him doing all this for you, but the comfort of being in his strong embrace and feeling the tingle of his arm hair against your open-back dress helped you relax a bit.

He lightly kicked in the door and gently laid you on the soft bed whose sheets you had changed this morning. He unbuckled his pants and you got even more flustered. You weren't in THAT kind of pain, you didn't need THAT kind of relief! Did you...?
