Use a different ESRGAN model. lollypop, 4x-UltraSharp, 4x-AnimeSharp are all good for different things. There actually a fuck ton of them. https://upscale.wiki/wiki/Model_Database#Image_scaling_and_Video_upscaling
I don't think I've used latent once this past week. Fucking finger mangler that thing. With these at 0.5 denoising, worst case I get an extra finger, which is an easy fix compared to "I put her hand in the meat grinder." Only downside is they're slow as shit lol. To the anon who originally mentioned lollypop to me many many weeks or even months ago, thank you.
