You're right about Kiara, who didn't accept it initially but came to over time, but I think you are wrong about Calliope. She's mad because she knows that hololive is what makes her popular and she knows it. She doesn't want to be known as just Mori Calliope, Nigger of Nippon, but she knows that is the case at this time and the foreseeable future. She wants to change that but isn't so stupid as to make the plunge all at once.

That's because the majority of her "antis" are, like most "antis", actually former fans and the they are just saying things she already knows and believes about herself. She gets mad but mostly just angry at herself. The white knights though really piss her off because they are symbolic of her stress, loving her for her Mori Calliope character that she doesn't care about and has come to resent.

Even then she would resent it because she has to be Mori Calliope instead of herself, and be known as Mori Calliope instead of who she really is and only be successful due to Hololive.
She doesn't want that hanging over her and to be all she is known for and as. Much like Leonard Nimoy with his book, "I am not Spock" or band members that try to split off from their band for Solo work so they aren't just a face in the crowd.
I can see that side of things and understand it, but she does handle things horribly due to her own pride, stupidity and likely due to her being an actual alcoholic.
