Okay, it seems you smooth brain faggots need to have everything spoonfed since you can't actually think for yourselves and read between the lines or simply watch streams instead of taking wild rrats and making your opinion on the girls based on that.
She was a hikki nerd herself, depressed because just making art by yourself isolated from the world is shitty. Her personality is all about self improvement, and she knew she had to improve herself, be more social, stop being autistically closed off on her own world. And she lists this as one of the reasons why she joined Hololive in the first place. Her oshi back then was Fubuki, and if you look at both their streams you will see how much influence Friend has on Ina's streams. They have the same "brand" of cuteness and keep the same distance between themselves and the viewers, only occasionally throwing a bit of fanservice our way.
Why does she does that? Does she not care about her viewers? Well, as I pointed out, she knows exactly what vtubing, anime and waifuism does to lonely otaku. You get stuck, you don't improve and you distance yourself from others.
Ina doesn't want you to be a gosling. Ina wants you to be Lars. That you hang out with her when you need a comfy time, but that when she is gone you are able to move on. She doesn't want you to spend your hard earned money on her, she would rather that you use that money to take a trip and send her photos using the takogram. She doesn't do superchat readings because she knows they are a waste of everyone's time when a Q&A and/or a dedicated zatsudan delivers the same content in a smaller amount of time. She doesn't want you to love her, she wants you to heal your wounds and move on. She wants you to get better, not be a greasy otaku that dies alone in their room at 40 from heart failure. And she is trying to achieve that by doing content that can be consumed in a healthy manner, without getting obsessed. That puts a smile on your face, but doesn't leave a void when it ends. Is there a greater form of love than wishing and doing the best you can to ensure the other person ends up in a better place in life? Aren't parasocial relationships just an expression of vanity?
