i agree with this take and it seems pretty evident with how things are going for each group.
this is just my personal experience, and you can feel free to doubt its veracity. But when I was living in Japan I had the opportunity to watch the holostars concert in person from the nosebleed seats. i was very surprised to see yagoo himself there in person, he snuck in with security detail shortly after the start and was paying really close attention the entire time. when i checked online in japanese sites, apparently these kinds of sightings are common, and he takes care to visit events in person and judge the experiences and take notes for improvement. yagoo is seriously invested in the groups and wants things to be better. it really improved my opinion of him.

I decided to read /#/ during this collab and it was legitimately depressing. Slow as fuck despite a collab going on. Even their favorite Fauna barely gets any discussion compared to all the other garbage they post (I assume any "sane" /#/ posters just come here to comment about streams). Constant infighting and actual paranoia over a supposed troll who they claim is paying for bots specifically to make them mad.
Compare that to hlgg. Multiple max post threads, everyone mostly happy and having fun. It was like night and day. Honest to god, how the fuck do they live like that?
