2 things: a) more mobs = more gold
b)the newly stacked mobs when killed give gold to another hero, ie. if a support stacks then a carry kills them, then the support gets a cut of the gold. This increases the net worth of the team overall.

Not a great way to learn anymore because the bots don't really work that well after 20 min into the game. If you need to practice last-hits or anything, the demo mode with the console is far better.

Nothing beats getting hazed in solo-que sadly. Take your lumps and learn Spanish.
