I mean, fucking Mumei and Ame (some of the biggest unityfags) seem to have fallen for it by doing shit like picrel stream. Clearly if they're susceptible to it there's a bigger problem with "unity" as a whole.

There's no guarantee Mumei and Ame won't continue to do collabs with niji and indieshitters, hell even Ina does fucking vshojo collabs now. You can't just say unity as a whole isn't cancer because not all of the parts of it are infected.

Yeah, this is exactly my point. She's completely correct about being worse in pretty much every way compared to people like Mumei and Ame. She has no actual value, and correctly realized as Selen that her only chance was to leech off of them (for example: picrel stream) as they're more fundamentally more talented and appealing than she is.
Which gets back to the original point about HYTE: they're obviously promoting her just because of favoritism towards her. Which is unfair to the Hololive members who actually deserve that kind of attention and promotion.

We can at least agree on that much, right?
