Seriously. You could explain japan's behavior simply by saying everyone is basically on the autism spectrum.

You want to use just a screenshot of some logo or picture in a video when it's parody? Free-use doesn't exist in japan. Get ready for several hours of one guy talking another guy talking to another guy talking to another guy talking to their boss talking to their boss, and deliberated on before it gets decided simply yes or no.
What haachama's doing with original video series content is what would trigger the biggest Autistic unhappy sensation in any japanese company. And that includes Cover.
Let me break it down for you about japanese business and how autistic that is.
Let's say you work work for cover and you want to do something new. Something unique with your character. Well making a power point presentation to convince your boss why your idea would be good won't just cut it. You need hours upon hours upon pages upon pages of documentation showing graphs and statistics as to why your proposed idea may work. And the japanese head honchos for all the time you put into that idea might just say "no" anyways.Because Japanese business don't like taking risks. They never like taking risks. That's why you see shit like Final Fantasy 7 Fortnite battle royale "inspired" works. That's why splatoon 2 has a mode to check and see if you're running on windows 98. That's why haachama is getting punished for attempting to go out of her way and do something new and original.
Because Cover and Japan are literally all autistic.

I like her design but she comes off as super forced and fake to me. the laugh she copied off pekora grates on me. the stuff with cali feels super forced too.
