I mean, there are still going to be times where occasionally a reminder of her hits me particularly hard (like when Moom and Nerissa sang Stay With Me) or something similar and I have to let myself feel sad about it and/or even let myself have a good cry about it, but I don't want that to be every waking moment for me anymore. It can't be, really. I'll just tell myself that I'm really grateful that I even got the chance to make those memories in the first place, and that it's still possible that I'll make a few more before the end.
And trying to understand why things are different now without actually having an official reason and most likely never getting one is just wasting mental energy and leads to more unnecessary misery, at least in my opinion.
