Have you been doing your streaming reps for AT LEAST half a year and have content creation experience for longer on top of that? Have you been doing your idol reps? Can you travel abroad, specifically to Japan, multiple times a year? Do you know at least a bit of Japanese? Can you fit into a Japanese mocap suit? Do you have at the VERY LEAST 1k twitch followers/youtube subs? Do you have any relatively popular clips? Do you have any skills you can provide that any current talents don't?

Start as barebones as possible with pngtubing (or even use a free live2d model) to test if you even enjoy streaming before worrying about spending larger amounts. Be a cheapskate until you find your footing. Save that 2k for when you found what makes you happy and have a good grasp of how you want to present yourself and what fits you. Remember not to kill yourself.
