The proposal was to get this further split into genres so that future contests have more categories with similar stuff grouped together by their genre rather than by whether they have smut or not.
Though I agree I think having another contest be themed would be better than the grab-all approach we went with this time especially since this time it won't be just our ploy to grab new writers from all across /vt/

Honestly as much as I say that you need to make it a habit; this is still a creative endeavor. The best way to get back in is probably to just start with a fun idea or prompt and writing for fun.
You'll need to get into the habit of writing if you want to make anything big but if you just want to write something for fun then there's nothing wrong with just having the doc/word file open and writing what you want to write when you want to write.

So alt!suisei in the main timeline is basically a ticking timebomb alternating between living the dream and grinding away so she never goes back; but what about our suisei?
