It's been a long time since I played it so I may not have remembered exactly how the merrymen work but I think I remember correctly...
There is a lot of RNG involved in this game which can make it really rage-inducing... Most scenarios are completely random and it's easy to get screwed over at any minute even when you make optimal decisions. Ike is driving me crazy right now though because he's wasting so much food... They only need to drink water every 5 days and food every 10 to survive.
