i mean if that's how you felt, cool. I thought the melodrama was standard for a franchise which doesnt have a lot of depth in the first place and was always built on quick-fire emotional moments to get the plot going (Marth dad dies offscreen, Sigurd falls in love with Deirdre at first sight and marries her, Eirika gives the ring to lyon despite him being clearly the dark lord)
Bad writing is RD or Fates, where everything you talked about happens but it also has no idea how to get the plot moving so it just makes shit along the way.
Anyway all im saying is, even if we dont see eye-to-eye, FE has always been about characters and the cast here is pretty strong, i like the priest that talks about worshipping both dragons and the armor knight with peeping habits
