I grew up in a rural area. I've loved animals from a young age. The local farmers have always been friends of the family so we help them out at busy times of the year. During school holidays I began working as a farmhand for pocket money so I gained a good amount of experience before leaving college. I went to university to do a vet degree but I had to give up on it due to COVID. Most of my jobs since have been through word of mouth but I have had work through online farming communities too. Experience is definitely needed since most employers will want to know you can work around animals and heavy machinery safely. I have no idea where you live but there are agricultural colleges or you might be able to get volunteer work to start off.
