As someone with a GFE indie oshi, seeing her treat her chat as… human, and actually caring about them and their feelings, has really changed my outlook on people like Yuko and Finana. It’s weird to see people treat GFEfags with such… dehumanizing disdain, knowing that they’re mentally vulnerable people who are typically in that position because of factors beyond their control, like being born ugly or autistic or SEA, and all they want is just the slightest bit of affection or kindness in exchange for money. and because of that, those streamers think they deserve to have their trust betrayed, their hearts broken? They deserve to be made even MORE distrusting of the world, thus digging them deeper into their depressing hole, less likely to ever ask for help ever again? I get that on 4chan, we larp as psychos that want every person different from us to kill themselves, but in real life, that kind of sociopathic behavior should NOT be rewarded. No one deserves to be treated as hero for kicking a person while they’re down, a person who never did anything to hurt anyone, and just wanted some affection for once in their lonely lives.
