Hololive made a mistake by completely ignoring flesh streamers and remaining a walled garden. For years now vtubers like Vei, Nyanners, Ironmouse, and Silvervale have been collabing with fleshstreamers and winning normal western stream watchers over to their side. If you watch Asmon's chat during the video you'll see everyone explaining how Vshojo is different and doesn't own vtuber's models like the evil JP companies. Big flesh streamers currently have no incentive to defend Hololive or Nijisanji's business practices because it's not like they're losing out on a chance to collab with them anyways. They'll always take the side of Vshojo or talent management companies like Mythic or MSM Talent that let vtubers keep their model over JP corpos.
