Why would I? People change all the time. I know because I too see myself as a terrible person when I was younger. So EVEN if those rumors are true, it doesn't change who she is now: a caring NijiEN senpai that everybody looks up to. And I know it's true because others in the vtubing sphere says the same about her.

Pomu said the thing she wanted most is "to be friends with everyone". The only time she becomes aggressive against someone is when she perceives them as being aggressive against her. Basically, she's the soft protagonist at heart and only fights because she has no other choice, despite many seeing her as this headstrong "antihero".
This makes her very relatable imho.
