They don't have the wow factor. Even top dog Nene has a recurring pattern of people picking her up, finding her to be samey and dropping her. Kawaii also has the worst place for candid conversation about the company with schizos galore, plus it's confirmed some of them browse /vt/ so they're constantly exposed to the awful shit /pkg/ and catalogue threads post or possibly responsible for the schizo as a method of venting, they're always going to be leashed to their shortcomings rather than looking ahead.
I don't have much faith in new gens doing well either since they are definitely going to be kept on a short leash after gen 3, with old gens being helicopter mentors and conforming them to their extremely safe and stagnant model. The new detective girl is basically shaping up to be a younger model Nene.
