Fauna would be cultivating the same audience that she cultivated in hololive anon and if that audience has good retention then that is because of her skill.
Same way Pomu, Selen or Rosemi would cultivate the same audience they have in hololive and would still have very bad retention due to their skill.
The streamers are the one responsible for growing the type of audience they have and you cant blame anyone else if they have a shitty audience like what you are trying to imply the nijien audience is.

I never got the hype around Selen, I tried watching a few of her vods and streams and she kinda seem like discount bae/ollie and would probably do the same numbers if not worse as them in hololive
