Polka read Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and then she was pondering what good entry/basic manga to recommend but stumbled because she somehow only familiarized herself in that title on her youth. She also mentioned how nicely structured the translations were and thank (You) for running it like so. Se also remarked that when you read it in one sitting the manga must be really good. She started to recommend One Piece and said that the people who immerse themselves in manga will always get the most out of it.

When she touched the topic of LN she was feeling like she has no preference at all. And then she underlined that you definitely need to read One Piece and Conan properly. Polka also said the Hunter Hunter manga is a difficult topic to talk to because how tedious the story is. There are also people who can and prefer to read One Piece not in chronological order at all so she was dialing back a bit on her recommendation about One Piece to a complete newcomer. Polka's perfect recommendation at the end was Ran To Haiiro no Sekai. Perhaps you've heard it before and Polka was telling (You) to please read it. Her favorite character is Irie Aki-san. She also recommended Sugar Sugar Run although it's a Shoujo manga but she said it's good and will definitely make you 感度化.
