Phase Connect is breaking the law and discriminating against men with multiple talents and staff saying that Phase Connect will only hire women talent managers.

Currently Phase Connect is looking to hire talent managers for their company. Phase Connect is based in Canada (this is public information) and discrimination on the basis of sex (among other things) is illegal. The only exception is if you can prove that the discrimination is required for the position. One example would be requiring a woman actor to play a role for a woman character, or hiring only male firefighters because the job has a strength requirement. However a manager does not have a requirement for gender. If you try to make the argument that "well they can manage better because they can relate better" then you could use that argument for literally any job position. You could make the argument that it's ok to hire only white managers if you live in a majority white city. It's illegal and it's not ok to do just because women vtubers are more popular than male ones.

The law is pretty much exactly the same in the United States, which means that people in the United States can also air their grievances with the gender discrimination that Phase Connect is doing.
