If I had to summarize it, I would say it's about myth being a real story and their struggles.

Self-made lore isn't the issue.
Obviously they can evolve their lore over time too, it happens with almost all vtubers. The only issue is that a lot of comments or supposed feats are just meant as jokes, like Rushia hitting a table so hard that it causes dinos to go extinct. If you were using all of what Vtubers say or do as canon you would also end up with tons of anti feats because they are just playing a role after all.
I don't know Pomu's stuff so I was just asking if it was just a skit or if her powers are played somewhat straight.

This honestly. Holomyth and even Irys just works so well because their designs alone makes you want to know the story behind them. It made all the fanart+fanmanga of them fun to view.
Council unfortunately didn't hit the same despite having actual lore in their bios.
