But what happens once the elves lose a few battles? Just as Hannibal's soldiers rode Roman war horses and wore Roman armor looted from the battlefield, so too would armaments of elvish make find their way to the hands of the enemy. Suddenly the elves find themselves on an even playing field against battle hardened foes.
A hundred years to raise a new army? I daresay it's not a feasible war economy. It's hardly suitable for our queen commander Gawr Gura's endless ambition and thirst for conquest.
