Ame has an earnestness and sincerity that the phase girls simply do not have. Ame is kind at heart and soft in spirit, lacking any malice or sharpness that the phase girls have. Ame may be short-tempered and contrarian sometimes but she is not spiteful. Ame may banter with her chat but she is not abrasive, she is not 'edgy' like the phase girls. Ame may be an unsocialized introverted quiet girl and oddball but this does not manifest as her being a gloomy 4channer-esque NEET stereotype like some of the phase girls. The girls in phase are Watamote whereas Ame is Bocchi (the original one, not the rock one). Ame does not feel like a typical western american zillenial woman with an avatar, whereas the phase girls do. In terms of content, Ame likes to do cute things, talk about her autistic interests and play games she is autistically singularly into like CS or TES; this is not like the ebin memes of phase or their gaming choices. Amelia Watson is the cutest girl in the world whereas the girls in phase are just some hoes.
