I went back into the VOD to get this picture of Mel without the hair covering her eyes and it seems like this is some sort of fusion of Melody and Melware. She also calls Zen her "dearest friend" before saying goodbye forever and implying there will be some sort of disastrous event in the future. I guess Vshojo lore is back on the menu.
