Not exactly a prompt, more of a personal challenge.
Severely thinking of doing some weird ass story in which the MC, the spot for (You), could be a Kaigai-nikki too, gets accidentally involved in a global conspiracy involving some "Not Google" or "Not Microsoft", you get the idea, that is trying to stop the reincarnation of two lovers, who originally vanquished some horrible fuck hundreds of year ago, from folding their plan to revive an old demon or evil deity through rituals and then giving it physical form through VR and A.I. and other high tech because apparently representations give permanence in the IRL world and that demon-thing will bend the world to their will or something.
The actual historical figures were some guy who had daydreams and visions from some woman who he went on a quest to find after war and turmoil forced him out of his home and later the woman turns out to be an esper or sage/medium/exorcist. Having just that lead, the corpo starts commisioning killings of couples around the world, married or casual or just pairings of men and women, specifically religiously influential or spiritual and rising before they could actually somehow become a threat to them through sheer destiny and the killings get framed as accidents or related to other causes.
What they completely miss from the entire prophecy is that the religious part of the original pairing was just because of the environment and upbringing they grew up with alongside time period and it is completely unrelated to the actual lover's reincarnation current condition, beliefs and whatnot, which is (You) and your Oshi who are not preachies but certainly believe in at least something, also (You) fulfill the coincidence because you can "perceive" your Oshi from afar because she's a chuuba and streams, mirroring the visions and daydreaming, also her part with livestreaming and VODs instead of wacky medium /priest powers, and their plans to stop the prophecy start snowballing into you two meeting, becoming a couple and fucking the entire scheme somehow.
There's still a fuckton of things to sort out before writing like nationalities and ethnical backgrounds from the original couple and how the fuck can 2 people beat a megacorpo without it being cringy cop-outs over and over or just asspulls everywhere. Only reason I have not gone balls deep into trying write this is because I am unsure as to what chuuba select, my Oshi?, someone with a more adventurous personality?, I need to think it through. Would also like to add more similarities between the reincarnated and the originals but I have not thought that throught at all yet. But still, very excited to go with this even if it crashes and burns midway because of convoluted plot and fanfiction-tier writing. But I want to do it.
