If anything, it's only the fist that most desperately needs a touchup. Doomguy wears a glove in the rest of the sprites so you don't see the hairy arms anywhere else. Would just a POV rabbit paw swipe for the fist replacement be le funni? Or too much.

POV lithe anime hands grasping things from multiple angles seems a bit too specific to find. It's a pretty tiny sprite too so drawing shouldn't be that big a deal to draw but ehhhh it's something that's on the screen constantly and it's iconic I wouldn't want to cock it up.
