It's happened before, a Twitch admin by the name of Horror the Cat was stripped of his position after starting a flame war with one of the website's biggest demographics at the time: the speedrunners. Though that was after multiple days of speedrunners revolting and having their channels deleted by rogue admins just for having the words "remove horror" on their page as well as colluding with Reddit moderators to delete topics about it. The CEO of Twitch himself had to come out and make a statement and unban everyone
