Thanks for linking me, anon. Everyone did a great job today, it takes a lot to put yourself out there doing something new on stream in front of an audience. I get excited thinking how nice the final product will sound!

I TOLD YOU, SENSITIVE STOMACHS LOOK AWAY! EXPERT CHEF IS ART. CRUDBUMP IS ART!

Thanks for anyone who came out to 80s karaoke! It was a total blast even though I got distracted a bunch. I have a lot more 80s songs to sing, so maybe we'll do a part 2 some time.

Man, my old ass neighbors really pissed me off tonight. Got an angry knock on my door and text message and ended my karaoke short because of noise complaints. Thanks for stopping by if you did! Next time I'll try to do a karaoke earlier in the day if I can. Was having a blast until that took the wind out of my sails a bit.

Hey /wvt/, doing a last minute vtuber choir thing for New Year's! Vtubers and viewers welcome to participate, so tell anyone you think would be interested, this is very low time commitment. You could be done with it in under 10 minutes.

Very simple, no rehearsal streams or anything, just lots of people singing Auld Lang Syne together!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the choir stream! It was a ton of fun and everyone did a great job! Very excited to get into the rehearsal streams. These streams are a lot of fun for me, and it's really fun when I see viewers saying they're singing along and learning at home. I'm super excited for how this will all turn out, since I think we have 30+ singers this time!

Oh, I shill myself regularly! I do classical music, one man barbershop quartet recording and arranging in real time, reading, and play a lot of custom Doom 2 megawads. I'll be doing a drinking stream tomorrow night while playing the nightmare hellscape game that is Cruelty Squad.

I've been doing Hololive barbershop quartet arrangements on stream, check those out if you like!

I should've gone to bed hours ago, but I wanted to share a little update on the chuuba choir project, because I'm very excited right now. I've been getting finished tracks back from the members and putting them together. I'm learning new software, Reaper, to put it all together, since it's a lot more powerful than Audacity. This means the editing is slow going on my part as I learn, but the end product should end up sounding very professional. Consider this a rough preview! I'm really impressed with the tracks everyone is sending in; they're really sounding great. Look forward to the finished product probably within two weeks or so!

It's also really nice and refreshing editing together multiple voices that aren't mine. I'm not even in this preview!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the one man choir stream! I had a really good time putting these together, and hope it was a fun, relaxing stream. Here are mp3s of what I recorded on stream tonight!

If you listen to any of these, the Finlandia Hymn and Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal were particularly fun and came out really well.

If you enjoy these types of streams, what do you enjoy about them? If you don't enjoy these, is there anything I could do to make them more engaging, or is watching someone layer recordings of this type of music just something that inherently holds no interest for you?

Piggybacking on what I was just saying, Devin Townsend is a great example of someone to watch for healthy producation of a heavier, grittier sound.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6p9mwA3OCg

Feel free to just shoot me a DM if you want to discuss this in more detail! I'm happy to help however I can, because gritty, distorted vocals don't need to mean vocal damage.
