-Fighting game community: Easy collab & viewer collab bait, already has some chuubas, has a culture of watching people play it
-STGs especially if you do showcases of older ones, contemporary-ish (you may have to get an Xbox 360 since for Reasons the majority of all commercial STGs ever produced were ported to that specific console, not least of almost most of CAVE's library) and indie titles. Heavily, *heavily* niche but there are no non-anime loving people in the scene because the only west-pandering titles died 30+ years ago.
-Relatively fast-ish Space games (X3, Freelancer, that sorta thing) since, again, small scene, devoted fans
