this, they just want the cover stock to go up, they heard it's the big hot new thing leading a new entertainment medium and want to be in on it hoping it's the next nvidia or tesla. the thing is the growth, while amazing, doesn't just scale up infinitely and if the company is pushed to balloon out too fast you get shit like this happening.

what perplexes me is why try to enforce new conditions and changes on established talents. that is a legitimately bad call. if cover wants a "new direction" that several graduating holos have now referred to, why not just have the new talents carry that forward without trying to force the old talents into it. they can worry about "brand risk" all they want but people still know matsuri for the bandaids story and pissing herself. that cannot be undone and just forcing her to play nice and act like a lobotomized doll won't undo that legacy. and yet, you can probably still go find her face on a bag of chips in Japan. it's a really overblown fear. hololive is not for kids - its concert-goers, merch-buyers and super chatters are not kids. they shouldn't be overly-worried about not always being clean or kid-friendly because it's bending over backwards for people who aren't there and don't care.
