That being said, there are certain places in the game where shares aren't actually accounted for in Net Worth - the Benchmark Leaderboard and the Benchmark Tab. I think a server like that, with "ask XYZ" for invite is fine, but I am not convinced of the ultimate death of the thread or the game. A place to keep in touch with those who have moved on 8man, my beloved, but at the same time I don't want for it to really have NASFAQ or NASFAQ-related topics, since I believe that despite its thorny history, the thread can still be fun. Ideally, I'd envision it as a place to play games with the community.

Ultimately, there are some things people say only publicly, anonymously, or privately. I think that the healthiest way is to acknowledge that fact, but push for as much of thread-relevant talk to stay in the thread.
