The new model wasn't even bad. It was designed to her liking. A bigger reason would probably be doing so many streams on bilibili rather than twitch. She was part of a stream group with other OG EN vtubers like Yuikai and Harune and it didn't seem to last long. Harune graduated earlier this year and I forget what happened to the rest other than Yuikai posting gravure cosplay on twitter these days.

It's all Eilene's fault. At least Moe chose to go down the 2view route when she could have just given up and done something else or sell out to an agency. You know for a fact she'd have no problem joining the big two, I don't think she's interested though.

Also https://www.youtube.com/otakumoe might have had all those subscribers but how many were still watching by this point?

The new model is made to Moe's preferences and not Eilene's. The whole point was to get away from the Eilene / Comdost crowd that she wasn't enjoying any more.

At least Moe didn't orbit herself around the Melody clique unlike others who were desperate to stay relevant and get popular off the camwhore's back.

Plus she and her community is pretty incompatible compared to vshitshow anyway. Moe doesn't want the lewdtuber / vshitshow audience, she'd rather find other ways to get viewers.
