That is why though? Anycolor managed to reach that 14bn yen in sales while increasing their administrative expenses only a little from 1.4bn to 1.7bn. Cover doesn't seem to have been able to keep their expenses under control and it almost tripled for them in one year to be able to reach 13bn in sales going from 1bn to 3.4bn.

Cover made 1.7B yen for the fiscal year of 2020-2021 and Anykara made 2.7B for the fiscal year of 2021-2022. No idea how much Cover made for the 2021-2022, but assume its in the low 2B so Anykara really doesn't earn that much more than Cover.

I have seen pic related passed around and I'm not sure about the credibility of it, but based on this pic Cover has higher net income for the fiscal year that ended on April 30 2021
But then again higher net profit is not always better, we need to take the assets and other stuff into account as well, alas there's no data of those

The companies are roughly comparable. Anycolor had bigger revenue in FY 2021 but quite a lot more expenses, meaning Cover ended up more profitable.
