I don't think anyone was really trying to stir shit about. Tommie was still readjusting to twitch shit so her and others just forgot until it was too late so there was just a bit of banter about it. You don't see it as much directly because people aren't terrified of her like they are of you. Of course, now people are scared but they're scared for her rather than of her.
If people had known how precarious her mental state was at the time, they might have been a bit softer in general.
