I've been making this comparison for over a year, anon, it's WCW. It's literally a perfect fit for WCW.
The Lazulight girls are their old-school talent that didn't bring outrageous numbers, but kept a loyal "old guard" around. Luxiem was so clearly their NWO moment that it's impossible to ignore. Then they tried to chase that NWO/Luxiem high with every new generation, same way that WCW tried to spam NWO spinoff groups until they killed the concept.
Then lots of little retarded moves that were causing them trouble, but didn't seem to be cutting into their profits because of how good the NWO shit was for their wallets. The constant screwing of the loyal old guard talents.
And then, the dam breaking all at once, the NWO/clique running the asylum in the end, and then them running it into the ground with some terrible PR fuckups and talent losses, it's so textbook WCW that it's the easiest thing in the world to write about.
