I went to shit and wanted to post about this, I agree with this take without being the blatant homobeggar anti incel some of the others replies have been.
When you go as hard on gfe as some of the kawaii talents my low self esteem hits ("no one can possibly love me in this way") and my suspension of disbelief is broken. I also have a hard time idolizing someone that idolizes their audience back.
I do think heavy pandering to people in need of love and affection deserves to exist though, so you go kawaii, keep doing your thing. I prefer the level of pandering Fuyo and Yuyu are doing.
