Anon the key is being able to acknowledge them as human beings with thoughts and complex internal lives. Not a woman but I have to imagine that for women it gets pretty exhausting being so frequently dehumanized and isolated from normal human interactions by the virtue of their gender and to be regarded as inherently different and impossible to communicate with in any context because a different genetic switch was flipped when they were in the womb.

I used to have the same problem, but unironically what snapped me out of it was joining a book club and realizing that I was just discussing poetry with a bunch of other people that had opinions like anyone else. They just also have boobs. It’s not fair to treat them like mythical animals.
