Showing off Suisei's autism in fluff is honestly a lot harder than it seems, at least from my experience. You are on the right track of it not having a place in a piece of work. Like, what purpose would a scene of her talking to her doll serve? Even if you wrote specifically with the scene in mind, trying to make it work in the overall narrative (and yes fluff does have a narrative) is just a lot more work than needed. Like yeah, it's a cute detail about her character, but bringing up to just bring it up is IMO, a bad idea. I think it works best in an introductory scene as an ancillary detail.

I agree with you in general though, it's a detail about her not included enough. Suisei is actually quite playful and goofy. A good writer can make it work as a central premise I think. There's no such thing as a bad idea after all. It's just that Suisei's autism is a unique flavor and as she's said herself, she knows how to behave, so it's not as simple.
