There's a lot of info to share about Polka, in large part due to the fact that nearly all of her member's streams and posts involve her completely spilling her soul to her supporters.

Polka came into Hololive already knowing YAGOO as a close friend and with enough experience in the entertainment industry that she was hired without a second thought. She's incredibly passionate about Vtubing as an industry even outside of her own content and is one of the Holos (if not the Holo) who watches the most streams of other members. She's a trendsetter in her own right, putting out her unique variety show Legend of Polka among many other unique streams or bits she's done. She also advocates for a world where Vtubers make most income by partnering with companies for collaborations or sponsorships rather than relying on their fans for most of their revenue, hence why you see 5th gen getting so many sponsorships despite being a new gen. (Botan is also a fan of this model) Polka is incredibly passionate about her own content and mention she nearly went broke paying for her first original song, and has often mentioned working herself to the bone to complete larger projects while streaming regularly.

But this devotion doesn't come from wanting to be rich or conventionally successful, but rather a deep seated need for love and attention from others. Offstream, Polka is awkward and shy, and alludes to being ignored or neglected by others in the past. She is intensely self critical and beats herself up over her slip ups. But rather than let that get to her, she works hard to turn every slip up into a joke and every flaw into a charm point, and that's where Polka's onstream persona comes in. Polka loves to be an entertainer because she herself gets quite a boost from following idols and other content creators, and it's a great ego boost for her to be able to do that for others. She describes her relationship with her fans as "co-dependent" and has previously called chatting with them "therapy" for her. When Polka has something that is stressing her out, she'll often turn to her audience for support, voicing her concerns in a member's post or a stream. She hopes to be able to do the same for them, her humor and enthusiasm giving them confidence to tackle the difficult things in their own lives. She doesn't put much effort in trying to wring out their wallets because she makes more than enough money to get by and gets more out of fan interactions than SCs.

But basically, she's cute and she loves anyone who loves her back, and she'd be happy to have you! (and her ASMR is really, really romantic)
